Nothing new to report around here. So here is an old picture. This was done by the easy stain glass window method where you cut out the applique pieces and fuse them to the black, and sew around the edges. It resides at my mom's house. If I were to do it again, I would change the color of the butterfly to something other than blue. It is about 13 x 18 I guess, just a small piece.

how pretty, Rebecca. Just big enough to try the technique without a huge committment of time if you didn't like it.

when I first glanced I thought it was stained glass lol. so I'd say you'd succeeded in the sample

Very pretty, I've never done a stained glass quilt but I have been tempted - maybe one of these days.

Stained glass quilting is one of the things I want to try too. :)
