The place I go for peace, quiet, rest, comfort, and general good feelings.
I think it needs a tad more yellow and the brown a bit bigger, orange slightly smaller--there is one opinion, LOL.Can you sketch it out first---or use EQ if you have it?The block looks interesting, Rebecca.
I've not looked closely at a real sunflower, but since this will be stylized and not 'realistic' anyway, why not go with what you have- its YOUR sunflower
Yup, I can see a field of sunflowers from this block! Maybe do some with the orange, and otehrs just yellow + brown?Jeanne
It's your sunflower - I think it is awsome!!
It looks good to me and I like Jeanne's suggestion.
I agree that it is your sunflower and I like it the way it is. :)
I'd go with more yellow, narrowing the orange and brown both...
I'll vote for more yellow too... :)
I go with linda-j - what a lovely block to use as an interpretation of a sunflower - looking forward to seeing what you do with it
Yes, I see sunflower, yes a bigger brown/smaller orange would enhance the effect. But I would eliminate the orange all together. In my mind, sunflowers are yellow and brown.
all the suggestions are great but honestly it looks good to me like it is.
It is your sunflower and it look like one too.
If it was my sunflower, I'd be thrilled with it!Judy L.
I love it! Maybe more yellow, but definately not more brown. But I would just leave it as is if it were me. I'll have to post some sunflower pictures from my garden on my blog tomorrow just for you! What are you going to do with it? Where's the pattern from?
Looks good to me..I want to see what you're going to do with it. Fields of sunflowers are wonderful.
Did you design this? It looks good to me.
I love this sunflower! I've always wanted to do some sunflower themed projects - I have been collecting fabrics for them.... Thanks for sharing!
