So, last Wednesday I went to the doctor. He sent me upstairs for a test. I went upstairs, to the only office I could find. Nope, they didn't know what I was talking about, couldn't help me. Went back to the doctor's office. Ok, go downstairs and talk to the people at the desk. Did that, they sent me to the lab upstairs. When I go there, nope, can't do the test until I check in downstairs at the hospital admitting area. I went to check in there, did some paperwork and was sent back up to the lab to do the test. Only an hour and a half.
I went to the store to fill in the prescription. Wait in line. The pharmacy says my coverage is expired. I call the plan administrators and they give me all the information I need to give to the pharmacist. Wait in line. Give the pharmacist the info. Go buy groceries, wait in line. The pharmacist says, you look too young to be born in 1946. That is not my birthday. The admin gave me the wrong info. Call them back and get right info. Wait in line. Husband comes up and says, my ATM card won't work. Go use mine to buy the groceries. Wait in line. The pharmacy has the prescription ready, sign here. Wait, why does this say Bay Area Automotive Group? They don't know. Well, I won't sign the paper with info on it I don't know where it came from. Call the plan administrators. They don't know where that info comes from either. Wait in line. Tell the pharmacist to call the admin to talk to them. Wait in line, get the medicine with the right info finally!
Call the bank, the aforementioned ATM card does not exist in their system. WHAT!!?? I can go to a local branch and get a new one. It is now 5 p.m. and they are all closed, and I live an hour away. So hubby will just have to do without for now.
When I get home, I look at the medicine and it is expired! Call the pharmacist, and they say, just run back over here and we will give you a new prescription. I calmly tell them I live an hour away and they promise to send me the prescription.
Saturday, hubby tries to buy a computer online, remember he has to use my card. He gets an email that the charge won't go through. Have to wait to Monday to call the bank. I assume that since we have a deposit pending, that is the problem. Call the computer company on Monday to resend the payment request, wait on hold. Doesn't go through. Call the bank, wait on hold, there is a POS amount restriction on my account. I have to call a local branch to have it raised enough to buy the computer. Call a local (!) branch, ok, you are good to go. Call the computer company, wait on hold, to rerun the charge. Doesn't go through. Call the local branch back, they can't help because there's a fraud alert on my account, I need to call the 800 number. Call the 800 number, wait on hold, then hold please and they will have that removed. Call the computer company, wait on hold, rerun the charge, won't go through, so they run half the amount. Goes through. Try to run another half amount charge. Won't go through! AAAAAARGH! They will rerun the charge tomorrow. I gave up in despair.
